  • Automatically — through cookies and similar technologies while you browse.
  • From third parties — such as analytics providers like Google Analytics.

  • Service providers need it — hosting, email, and analytics vendors who work on our behalf and are contractually required to protect it.
  • The law requires it — court orders or legal obligations.
  • The business changes hands — in a merger or acquisition, information may transfer to the new owner.
  • You say it's okay — with your explicit consent.

5. Cookies

Cookies are small files stored on your device. We use:

  • Essential cookies — keep the site working properly.
  • Analytics cookies — show us how visitors use the site.
  • Marketing cookies — help us measure and improve our campaigns.

You can control or disable cookies in your browser settings — though some features may not work as smoothly.

6. Your Rights (PIPEDA)

Under Canada's privacy law (PIPEDA) and BC's privacy laws, you have the right to:

  • Access — ask for a copy of the personal information we hold about you.
  • Correct — have inaccurate or incomplete information fixed.
  • Delete — request deletion, subject to any legal obligations.
  • Withdraw consent — stop us from using your info for marketing at any time.
  • Unsubscribe — one click in any email we send.

7. How We Protect It

  • Encryption of data in transit and at rest
  • Secure server infrastructure
  • Regular security updates and reviews
  • Access limited to authorized team members only

No system is 100% bulletproof, but protecting client data is literally one of our services — we take it seriously.

8. How Long We Keep It

Only as long as we need it — to deliver your services, meet legal obligations, and resolve any disputes. After that, we securely delete or anonymize it.

9. The Small Stuff

  • Third-party links: Our site may link to other websites. Their privacy practices are their own — check their policies before sharing info.
  • Children: Our services are for businesses, not kids. We don't knowingly collect information from anyone under 18, and we'll delete it if we discover we have.
